What’s up my transgender sisters? Well from the picture above some of you have a few questions for your little Bilinda. You see, this site has “A transgender community for transsexuals, cross dressers & transvestites” as the title. Ok, fine. But, some of you have pointed out that, at 2 months or so old, I have had only around 2 or 3 post about transsexuals.

So what gives, is Bilinda anti-transsexual or something? No no, nothing like that. Put those pitch forks away, your going to make a run in my stockings! When I set out to make this site, I wanted it to be a site so all transgenders would feel at home here. Now, that term is so damn broad I thought “where do I draw a line about what I write about”? I mean, gays can also be lumped under that term, and then we have the whole spectrum of Androgyne, intersex, bi and so on.

I identify myself as a crossdresser, followed closely by transvestite, with a twist of this and that, all wrapped up in silk bows and nylon, wweeeeeee! The term transsexual, to myself and most people I think, is most closely associated with being a transgender. In fact there has been many heated post about how a lot of transsexuals feel only they should be regarded as transgender, and the others as “just” a crossdresser or whatever. (pantyhosed pervert has been suggested by some).

So I decided to put the “big three” in my title, and stick mainly with topics about them. But I have to admit, transsexual topics are my weak spot. I don’t know all that much about what you go through, how to discuss things with you. Even among themselves there is a wide variety. You have the post opt and pre opt crowd, the ones who have decided not to transition, the depressed, suicidal group, the ones that just want to blend into society and forget about all the labels.

Now, as you can tell from most of my writing, I am not the type that takes life too seriously. I don’t take myself, or anyone else seriously. So my post are light, funny and poke-ya-in-the-eye type of post! Whenever I think about writing a post about transsexuals, well,, I get my panties in a bind. Lots of you girls are sensitive about what is written about you, what is said about you. At least from all the hate replies I see from other post. So, I hesitate to post a funny, self deflating post about transsexuals.

Fine you say, then make some good, informative post about us. Well, the trouble is I don’t really know much about what you go through. I try, I go to forums and read what you say, I read up on what you deal with. I know who you ARE, just not the personal side of you. You girls seem so different among yourselves, you have so many heated fights between you about what you should be called, treated, rights, all that. And you want ME to go and pokie pokie them??

So I will try to understand more, and try to include more post about transsexuals. I hope most of my post are broad enough that everyone gets something out of them. I hope everyone can get a laugh or two out of my post, to just let go and enjoy themselves for a minute. So feel free to send me information and comments from a transsexual’s point of view. After all, I’m just a pantyhosed crossdressing pervert! (JK)
