A Transgender community for transsexuals, cross dressers & transvestites

Sorry I had no post the other day, but I did put that one below out on Sunday. Busy busy! So gays and lesbians in California are having a wonderful time today getting their marriage license. Yes today it is finally legal for same sex, or gays and lesbians, to be married legally. They are expecting a lot of couples in the next few days.

I heard that lesbian TV star Ellen DeGeneres and her girlfriend Portia de Rossi will be getting married. That’s nice, I think Ellen is a wonderful person. Now personally I don’t think marriage is a big deal. I’ve never been married and have no desire to be. To go through a huge big deal to have a license like a car title to the person you love seems cold.

Of course that’s not the whole part of it. By being married there are lots of legal things you can take advantage of, and if you have kids it’s really important for a lot of things. But as far as just the sake of the whole symbolic thing of it, I find it as silly as tribes that paint their bodies up before getting hitched. At least that doesn’t leave you broke!

Which is another thing I find silly, spending so much that you take out loans and everything, just for one day and a 20 minute walk and speech. Ok so I’m not a hopeless romantic, sorry. I’ll show up on a date with flowers, surprise her with cards and so on, but marriage I just don’t get.

despite my personal outlook about it, I do believe in same sex gay and lesbian marriage. If they let anyone do it and get all kinds of legal goodies, then everyone should be able to do it. Gay people love each other just as much as straight people, so it should be equal.

Of course there already is a movement to make a constitutional amendment that would define marriage as between a man and woman. Damn, don’t they have something better to do? Go take your kid for a walk or take your wife out to dinner and leave people alone. All they want is to be able to do what you already can do.

So I’m glad that California is now a state that offers same sex gay and lesbian marriages. Hopefully many others will follow and some day it will be no big deal. The same gays and lesbians that are getting married are the same ones that are already living together, paying their share of the taxes, only more since married people get a lot of breaks.

So let them get married and go find something to do. Surely there are better things to get upset over. I’m sure I’ll never get married, but It’s nice to know I can whenever I want. Let everyone have the same piece of mind. Now letting threesomes get married,,,,,,,,,,,!!!
