Mislabeled transgenders?

mislabeled transgenders

Happy hump day girls! I’ve been burning the bikini wax on both ends lately! So many things I want to do but so little time. Ah, well, today I thought I’d write something that might stir some people up, but hey I’m use to that! As I’ve said before, I belong to several transgender forums. I also check each day on some transgender news sites.

I figure if I’m writing a blog about transgenders, I should know what the hell I’m talking about. For some reason I still don’t but hey I try. Well anyway I noticed something on a crossdresser blog that made me think, several things I noticed actually. Now, some of us transgenders are very picky about who goes where under all those labels we get stuck under.

It’s like, some people are fine with just “this box is for screws, this one is for nuts, and this one is for bolts.” To them that’s really simple, cut and dried. But others will say “oh no, you need to have a box for the long screws, one for the short screws, one for the brown screws, one for the new screws” and so on!!!!

So I’m not sure where you fit in, but you will understand soon what I’m talking about. Someone was saying how they had just gotten real implants, breast implants. Now that’s fine, if your a real girl, or your a transsexual. But this person was talking on a crossdresser board. This person called themselves a crossdresser.

Now I KNOW that a whole lot of transsexuals would think it demeaning to lump themselves under “just” being a crossdresser. Also several replied to that person saying they wanted to learn more about that because they might want to do that. Again these were people that called themselves crossdressers.

So I was thinking, do these people even understand what a transsexual is? Could they have not been exposed to much, they started crossdressing, talking to other crossdressers, and think that this is how all crossdressers are? Most people do not think a crossdresser wants to change sex, or alter their body that much.

So I wonder if they are missing out on support they could have if they just went to a transsexual board or site. I suppose a lot are confused and don’t really KNOW what they want. But shoving breast implants in your chest, well, that’s a pretty big step!

There are other post I have read too, that just sounds like they are more than,,, uh,, “just” crossdressers. Yes I know, some of you get mad when you hear that. Well how else can I put it? Personally, I don’t give a damn what anyone calls me. I am a “recreational wearer of frilly girl things when the mood strikes”!

In other words, I’m not too deep in it. I’m not a transsexual, I’m not a gay pride button wearer, I’m not even someone who wants to pass. Wait, I’m getting off topic. My whole point was, can someone talk, and relate to a group, thinking they are one of them, when in fact they really belong to a different group, and could benefit more talking to that group?

I suppose there are lots out there that don’t understand what they want, where they are going or what to do. Hell that’s normal, so relax. But, if you really think you are very different, so to speak, maybe you should study all the different possible “groups, organizations and labels” you hear about to really try to see where you fit in.
