Hi everyone, hope your having a good weekend. I wanted to let you know about something that a nice man by the name of Ben Briscoe from the Dallas Voice sent me. It seems as though a gay bar owner has decided to not allow transgenders in the club anymore. That’s right, it’s a gay bar, and he has no problem with the gays. He just wants the drag queens and transgender girls to not come around anymore.

My, what a mixed signal huh? So why does he feel this way? Well, quoting him from the Dallas Voice article: “Drag queens act like they are divas and think they can’t do no wrong,” Moore said. “They have stolen money straight off the bar, hassled costumers for drinks and locked themselves in the bathroom with a bunch of guys. And with Tuesday being our busiest night, there is just no way for me to keep the draq queens under control then. I don’t want draq queens in here that are going to misbehave.”

Damn, lock themselves in the bathroom with a bunch guys, why didn’t I think of that! ANYWAYS, as can be expected this has caused a big stink with the local drag queens and transgenders. I read it, and I really don’t know what to think. It’s his bar, so he can do whatever he wants, as long as it’s legal. Personally I think barring transgenders from a gay bar is,,, not a good idea.
